Subject: Our hosting team has discovered an issue with our nameservers that is causing some websites in our network to be inaccessible on certain Internet Service Providers. We are investigating this issue.

All services have been migrated out of our NYC-01 server. We have verified the integrity of services that have been transferred. All services appear to be online. We will continue to investigate the failure related to this server to ensure that services can continue to remain unaffected.
Subject: Our hosting team has discovered an issue with sites going down on our New York 01 server. We are actively migrating accounts out of this server and into our Chicago data center to mitigate downtime associated.

We have pushed an update to our servers that has resolved the ability for users
Users can now attempt to install their own installation of YOURLS on their servers by going to the Softaculous App Manager. Our development team has marked this as resolved.
If you continue to have issues with installations of YOURLS, please contact us by submitting a ticket in your customer portal.
Our hosting team has discovered an issue with YOURLS deployments in our Softaculous application manager available from our cPanel interface. Currently, users may experience an undefined error that prevents the install from completing successfully.

Affecting Other - PayPal Payment Gateway
Update: (12/30/2020 - 2:59 PM CT) We have opted to shut down our PayPal gateway and have issued a notification to all clients to upload their card information directly for appropriate billing.
Update: (12/18/2020 - 11:41 AM CT) We have resolved all issues outstanding however we do not believe that the connection problem with PayPal has been resolved. Please continue to monitor your PayPal account to ensure that your invoices are being covered in a timely manner. We are working with PayPal to confirm that this problem has been resolved.
Our engineering team is actively investigating this incident with our network partners to get everything back to normal. We will update this page as we have additional information.
Impact: Users may notice that their PayPal payment plans associated with our services may not automatically draft.
Affecting System - Domain Auction Service
Update: (12/18/2020 - 11:38 AM CT) Our network partner has advised us that the module in question that controls our Domain Auction system has not yet been updated by their development team to support the newest version of our hosting platform. Their team is working on a fix and will provide us with the updated version when it is completed. Until then, this service will remain unavailable.
Our engineering team is actively investigating this incident with our network partners to get everything back to normal. We will update this page as we have additional information.
Impact: Users affected by this incident may notice that they are unable to access domains that are for sale in the system. Purchases have been paused in the meantime.
Affecting System - All Web Systems
On 9th November, 2020, between the hours of 06:30 UTC - 14:00 UTC, important hypervisor updates will be applied to this environment. During the maintenance window, our web servers may experience interruptions as long as 90 minutes for up to one occurrence. Websites hosted on this server may go down temporarily.

Affecting System - Phone Support System
On the 21st of October, 2020, Starting at 7:30 AM CT, our network operations center was made aware of a failure in our phone support system. We have detected that an outage has occurred in our internet provider that is blocking inbound calls to our server at this time.

We are available for email and live chat support 24/7 during this time while we work to correct this issue with our Internet Service Provider.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
UPDATE (10/21/2020 9:19 AM CDT): We are working directly with our Internet Service Provider to identify the outage point. No hosting server systems have been affected. We have detected no outages in any of our other services at this time. We expect an update within an hour from our ISP on the status of our connection.
UPDATE (10/21/2020 10:00 AM CDT): Our Internet Service Provider has confirmed that our connection has been restored. We have tested that all phone support services have been restored to full functionality.
19:35 CDT UPDATE: We have validated that our Phoenix servers now have access to the external network. We are working with our datacenter provider to discover the root cause of this problem. All listed services below are back online, and we are now performing research to determine the root cause of the problem with our provider.
17:27 CDT UPDATE: We have been notified of a network outage in our Phoenix Datacenter that is affecting outbound network queries. This may cause issus with WHOIS lookups, Google/Facebook OAuth, and reCAPTCHA efforts on our applications. This is NOT affecting website uptime, email uptime, or FTP uptime or ANY inbound web query requests.

15:09 CDT UPDATE: We have resolved the issues with nameserver failure on our end and redirected traffic. All outages have been corrected and DNS updates have synchronized.

We have been made aware of an outage in our Apache web engine and are working to investigate the cause and resolve the issue. Please check back for updates.

UPDATE: We have brought back online and verified connectivity of all sites hosted on our infrastructure. We are now performing final validation of our DNS infrastructure to update our policies to prevent issues in the future.
